This Privacy Policy explains how AIFERA ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when merchants install and use the App with their Shopify store.
Information We Collect
When you install the App, Shopify grants us access to certain information necessary to provide our services. Depending on the features you use, the App may access:
- Store information
- Store owner contact information
- Product information
- Collection information
- Shopify pages
- Product images
- Theme information (when required to display generated videos)
- App installation information
The App does not intentionally collect or process customer payment information.
How We Use Information
The information we collect is used solely to provide the App's functionality, including:
- Generating AI-powered product videos from existing product images
- Displaying generated videos on Shopify product pages
- Analyzing SEO for products, collections, and pages
- Generating AI suggestions for meta titles and meta descriptions
- Improving app performance and reliability
- Providing customer support
- Communicating important service or account information
AI Processing
To generate videos and SEO recommendations, certain product information and product images may be securely processed by trusted AI service providers. Information is processed only for the purpose of delivering the requested functionality and is not used to train public AI models unless explicitly stated.
Data Storage
We store only the information necessary to operate the App and provide ongoing services.
Generated videos, SEO analysis results, and related configuration data may be stored securely while the App remains installed.
Data Sharing
We do not sell merchants' data.
We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate the App, such as:
- Cloud hosting providers
- AI processing providers
- Error monitoring services
- Analytics services
These providers are only permitted to process information necessary to perform their services.
Data Retention
This App is free and does not use Shopify Billing. After uninstall, Shopify invalidates our API access. Approximately 48 hours later Shopify sends a shop data deletion request (shop/redact). We then delete or anonymize merchant data stored by the App, unless we are legally required to retain certain information.
Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the information processed by the App.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or operational practices.
